Applications for the Transitional Year residency program at Mercy Health Partners are accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).  We do not accept paper applications.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Our training program requires the following:

• Graduate from United States or Canadian medical school by June 15, 2009 or within the last seven years from planned start date.
• Valid ECFMG certificate (if applicable) prior to NRMP match deadline.
• Passed Step I and Step II CK and CS of USMLE, or COMLEX-USA with a score preferably of 80 or above.
• Have clinical (hands-on) experience within the last two years preferably (does not include observership or research).
• Must have a current United States residential address.
• All applications must go through ERAS.  No paper applications will be accepted.
• Obtain BLS Certification, valid for the current academic year.
• VISA's will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

APPLICATION DEADLINE

The deadline for applications for the 2009-2010 academic year is December 30, 2008.


INTERVIEW DATES

October 23, 2008 through February 13, 2009.
