At SVMMC, we currently offer 20 AOA approved osteopathic intern slots. Included in this number are Internal Medicine, General Surgery Linked, Orthopedic Linked and OB/Gyn track slots with the remainder following a traditional rotating intern curriculum.

The Osteopathic interns have the opportunity to work in a large tertiary care center where state of the art medical care is delivered. We offer a strong didactic program and our dedicated osteopathic education facility is equipped with a computer learning center and telemedicine capabilities.

This one year internship will prepare the osteopathic physician for whatever residency he/she desires to pursue. Come and take a look—I believe you will be pleasantly surprised.
