Prescription Drug Plan $10.00 co-pay for generic, $15.00 for Brand with no generic substitute and $20.00 for brand. Mandatory generic/formulary dispensing. Must participate in medical plan to be eligible for pharmacy coverage.
Retirement Tax-Deferred Annuities: Allows employees to tax shelter up to $13,000 (+ $3,000 if over 50) per year for retirement purposes.

Income Protection
Disability Core benefit is 50% (max. $2,500 per month) may purchase additional disability at 60% and 70% (max $6,000 per month). Eligible 6 months from date of hire. Benefit begins on 61st day.
Leave of Absence A Resident may be granted for medical /personal leave based on a significant medical illness, trauma, pregnancy.etc. The resident will be paid from their sick time if applicable, or may request to be paid from their vacation time when sick time has been exhausted. (refer to MHP Academic Affairs policy # S-09)
Worker’s Compensation Life Insurance: Core benefit is 1.5x’s basic salary. Buy up life insurance available in $10,000 increments (subject to contract limits) at employee’s cost. May opt down to $10,000.
